Come explore the wonderfully unpredictable world of collage.
This workshop is all about taking familiar materials and looking at them differently. We'll use images, paper, colors, words, and whatever else catches your eye to create something completely your own.
You'll have access to a large selection of collage materials and inspiration from previous creative projects, giving you plenty of ways to get started and experiment.
Whether you're naturally drawn to structured compositions or prefer to cut, layer, move things around, and see what happens, there's no single right way to make a collage.
Shawnette Martinho will introduce the basic ideas behind collage and provide guidance, creative prompts, and inspiration throughout the workshop.
You'll be encouraged to experiment with composition, layering, texture, color, imagery, and unexpected combinations.
The goal is to push your creativity a little further than you normally might and give yourself permission to experiment without worrying about getting everything "right."
